Trader Programme

Introduction.

Trading is a marathon, not a sprint. I have designed this programme the same way: one path, level by level, to give you the best opportunity to become a trader.

Four core levels take you from the basics to the T4T Trading Assessment, which answers the question every trader asks: am I ready to trade live? Two add-on levels, AI in your trading and investing, are priced separately and can be added at any time.

​

Every level is live, online and taught by me, one-to-one or in a small group of no more than five, so you always have my attention. Theory is put straight to work in live practice on a professional platform with real-time data, on a demo account, never with real money.

Why learn with me?

I have traded the markets since the 1970s, and with my own capital for forty years. I started in commodities and was a senior trader at 22, spent seventeen years on the LIFFE trading floor, was a market maker in Italy for Banca Fineco and a liquidity provider on two major energy exchanges.

For 49 years, I have trained traders, from complete beginners to bankers, energy traders and even fund managers.

Level 1, Core: the basics. 4 hours, one live session.

Every good trader started with the basics. In one live session, I give you them properly, so you start with the right habits instead of picking up bad ones.

How markets work: supply and demand, bulls and bears, the bid, the offer and the spread, and making money when a market falls as well as when it rises.

The language of trading: spot and futures, margin and leverage, volatility, slippage and profit and loss.

Placing a trade: market, limit and stop orders, and when to use each one.

Reading a chart: line, bar and candlestick charts, Heikin Ashi and point and figure, plus your first tools: pivots, Fibonacci, trend lines and channels.

What moves markets: central banks, interest rates, economic cycles and world events.

Risk from your very first trade: entry, stop and target, risk-to-reward, and sizing a trade.

Thinking like a trader: your trading plan, your diary, and the mistakes new traders make.

Book and pay for Level 2 within 7 days and your Level 1 fee comes off the price.

Level 2, Core: from knowing to trading. 5 days, 20 hours, noon to 4 pm UK.

Knowing the basics is one thing. Trading with them is another. In five days, you turn what you know into how you trade, placing and managing your own trades on a demo account by the end of the week.

Day 1, market fundamentals: macroeconomics, the main asset classes, central banks, inflation and interest rates. Your demo account and platform set up with you.

Day 2, commodities and technical analysis: chart types and indicators, trends, support and resistance, timing entries and exits.

Day 3, risk and trading techniques: managing risk, risk-to-reward, why every trade has a stop, protecting profit, and building and exiting positions the way professionals do.

Day 4, psychology and planning: controlling your emotions, finding your trading style, starting your trading plan and journal.

Day 5, bringing it together: a final practice session, a recap of the week, how to access the markets, and a Q&A with me.

Level 3, Core: the heart of the programme. 22 days, 89 hours.

Every subject goes deeper, and every day you put the theory to work in a live practical session, so you finish with a trading method of your own.

Macroeconomics and market data: GDP, jobs, inflation, PMIs, and how to trade the release.

Central banks and policy: how policy reaches the price, QE and QT, reading a rate decision the way a professional does.

Technical analysis in depth: zones, pivots, moving averages, momentum, chart patterns and multiple timeframes.

Risk and trade management: how much to risk, thinking in cash, stops from the chart, a daily loss limit, building positions and protecting profit.

Commodities and energy, shares and indices, currencies and the dollar, crypto and derivatives.

Trading psychology: emotions in a trade, confidence, discipline, revenge trading and overtrading.

Your plan and your review routine, and lessons from two centuries of market crises.

Final project: you present your own trading philosophy to me, your markets, your style, your rules, your risk and real trades from your diary.

Level 4, Core: the T4T Trading Assessment. 6 weeks, one 90-minute one-to-one session per week.

The level that answers the question: am I ready to trade live?

You trade your own written plan on a demo account and prove you can do it consistently.

​

Prepare before every session, trade only to your rules and review at the end of the day.

Log every trade and every order you cancel, with the reason.

Set your daily loss limit before each session and stop if you reach it.

Meet me one-to-one each week: a performance review and a market replay, where you talk me through what you would do.

​

Six weeks, ending with a final replay exam. Sessions are recorded for your review, and your camera can stay on or off.

​

Your certificate: pass the assessment, and you receive the T4T certificate, T4T Trading Assessment, Passed. It is the only certificate in the programme.

Already trading? The assessment can also be taken on its own, one-to-one.

Level 5, Add-on, priced separately:  Add AI to your trading. 3 days, or four 3-hour weekend sessions, 12 hours.

AI is only as good as what you give it. This level teaches you to work with AI as a teammate, the way I do every day, and to build your own trading tools with it, no coding background needed.

cTrader training (or use your own system): charts, your demo account, indicators, orders and where your AI-built tools live.

How to communicate with your AI: garbage in = garbage out.

Using the T4T daily newsletter with AI, and the second layer of analysis your own AI can provide levels during the day.

Watch me and my AI build an indicator live, then I guide you while you build your own: test it, challenge it, ask, can we make it better, and fix it.

If it merits one, turn it into a bot with your risk rules written into the code, and test it on demo.

Level 6, Add-on, priced separately: Investing - beginner. 1 day, 4 hours.

Investing is not trading. This level shows you how to build and manage a long-term portfolio.

The investor mindset and how it differs from a trader's.

Before you invest: time horizon, capital, costs, diversification and choosing a broker.

Valuing a company, reading a balance sheet, and shares or funds, active or passive.

Managing risk, your investment plan, and the psychology of investing.

Training one to one? Session times can be tailored to suit you.

Every level ends with a short test to check your understanding.

All practice is on a demo account, never with real money.

Experienced traders can move faster through the early levels.

Full core programme, Levels 1 to 4, bought together at the start: £5,600 one to one, or £4,480 in a small group (Level 4 is free). Level by level: £6,050 / £4,930.
